Thread: music transfer help!

hi, i've got a 8gb memory stick for my PSP (sony, Mark 2), and i'm currently transferring all my music off my computer on to the psp (via usb).
i've put about 4gbs worth on and now, when i copy and paste the mp3 files, i browse the music via the psp and for some reason, the mp3 files have turned into folders (which are renamed with letter/words that aren't even on my keypad!!)....
what is going on?

looks like your memory stick is corrupted.

Try Re-formatting the memory stick and trying it again.
