Default Weird problems with 6110 Navigator

Hi guys,
First of all I'd like 2 say that U are truly awesome. Many of your forums and apps have helped me a lot. However, I still encounter some issues with my Nokia 6110 Navigator. Before I start, here are my phone's specs:

Nokia 6110 Navigator
Symbian 9.2 (FP1)
Firmware ver. 3.58
MicroSD 2GB
(I think that's it).

Well, it's a cool phone, the GPS works great and i use Garmin XT 4.20 and I also have TOMTOM, Sygic and of course Route 66 (integrated in the software). However, i have some weird stuff going on on my smarty and the strangest are as follows:

1. When I empty the battery while playing games (especially JAVA) and plug the phone to charge it waits couple of seconds and then shows up the battery charging sign (WHICH IS NORMAL), but when I turn it on while it's charging (I do it 5-10 secs after it shows the battery sign) it starts regularly (but sometimes it doesn't show the network signal) and then i leave it to rest. BUT when the screen goes off (because of the screen saving) and when i try to push a button (sometimes) the screen remains black and the keypad lights turn on and sometimes I can only turn it off (by pressing the OFF button) or sometimes I even have to remove the battery. NOW, when i plug it backto charge to it's "full potential" I turn the phone on and it asks me to set the time and date ????? (that I think is not normal) and after that it works fine.
2. Specifications issue, really. i mean I found on the web that my CPU is ARM 11 @ 396 Mhz (GREAT ) but in X-plore and SPMark it says it's ARM 4 @ 192 Mhz. What's the catch?

Sorry for such a long message. thanx in advance

Thanx for the reply boss262
Well, I thought about updating the firmware but my internet speed is 512K and not too stable and I also LOVE using Garmin but I've read that it has problems with new firmwares when you press the "#" button.
About the speed, I dunno, I found some other guy who gave same specs like mine (for 6110 Nav of course) and he was also shocked.
thanx 4 the reply

hi manganoid. i think you definitely need to upgrage your firmware anyhow. i also this problem wt my 6110n before but everthing's gone after firmware upgraded. i took me overnight to download, failed and failed...and at last...binggooo..
you will probably found there is no new firmware available for your phone but it'll require you to change your product code using Nemesis flash program. do some research before you proceed with this procedures. good luck!

Thanx for the reply. I don't really want to update the firmware since i've read there are some issues with Garmin XT ("#" button etc.) plus As much as I know you can't download the update but you have to be on-line so that NOKIA can update your phone via their service site (sometimes could be a problem). Still what do you think about the speed marks?
