I've heard that your phone is meant to have low quality...

I did a firmware upgrade from R9F011 to R9GA001 recently post which i find a drastic reduction in the volume in both conversation mode and music/radio mode. I regret this move of mine. The volume reduction is a part of SE to ensure it is limited to 90dB or so in EU. I've been mailing SE to have this looked at. I'm sure there will be other users who have been facing the same problem.

has anyone tried the graphic equalizer? the standard settings aren't very loud, even on full volume (I found this with my PSP, W810i and W580i) but if you go into graphic equalizer and set it to manual and turn everything up it is really loud like a dedicated walkman

w950 doesn't have manual only the presets... It's a shame really such a great phone and it has such a bad feature...
How come somebody hadn't made a patch or a fix to replace some system files or something lie that i love the w950i but if i don't find some solution quick i will have to sell it. something else can be done and that is that you convert your .mp3 files to aac files and it's suppose to be louder i will check that out now... |
