mini sd problem

hi,
i have a kingston 2gb minisd card working with my n73.recently i used the same card with a canon digital camera and after that the capacity of the card has become 981 mb.How is this possible??formatting it using a computer is not working.it shows the same capacity in the formatting tool.
any suggestions on how can i get the memory back??

hi,
i had tried formating my 2gb memory card but id skip the "overwrite ERASE"
Then my memory card was corrupted what should i do.pls help
