Should Saddam Hussein be hanged for his genocide crimes ?

Is he guilty ? Was his trial fair ?

Theres a lot of controversy about this at the moment, people are saying the trial was fixed, poeple are saying he is innocent, and people are saying he shouldn't be hanged.

Personally I think he is guilty of gencide and was a tyrant and a dictator, but I dont think he should die, i think he should serve a life sentence in solitude so he can mull over his atrocities and realise what he has done.

I agree Doughboy, He is certainly not the most Likable fellow and has commited some of the most disgraceful acts in the past but I don't think Hanging him make things right...

Murder is wrong full stop, people should be able to live out there life no matter how unpleasant it may be... Lock him up for life...

this man wa responsible for gassing thousands of people,including raping women in front of husbands(his cousins favourite hobby)invading his neighbours kidnapping,torture,ect.he will be lucky to be hung ,personally they should give him to the iranians ,theyb love him after a six year way and a million deaths on both sides...

should saddam be hanged? should a mass murderer be let off scott free? I say hang him. Twice!

Death is so quick though what your saying is for the years of pain and abuse he has caused he should not suffer and have a quick way out...

If he is hung he will be dead in seconds, If he is locked us he will be tortured and will die eventually in his cage anyway...
