The version posted in the link contains the "Edit spreadsheet" bug i.e its not there therefore the version is useless for Excel. This version is fixed.

If your phone is hacked, it should install rightaway. If you have v5, there could be an update error but this can be circumvented by un=installing quickoffice LM from apps then installing. Worked that way on my mates N82.

Not much difference, QO5 had Office 07 support but Officsuite caught up. I personally prefer QO as its quicker, simpler to use and has a powerful feature set. Install both, check em out and make your your mind

From version 5 onwards, it has capability to open and use Office 2007 files, docx etc.

Must admit, I managed to update to version 5 no problem. This was a must for me as I use 2007 Office on my laptop and pc.

I have a N95-1 h@cked phone with QO v5.016, and kept getting update error regardless of self-signing it or not. YOU NEED TO UNINSTALL QUICKOFFICE LM first to avoid these update errors!!

Yes, the 'Recent Documents' function is gone. That's a pity as it was very useful for me. Oh well, you can overcome this by putting all documents in the 'Documents' folder I guess.

There is a positive to the upgrade though, my problem with opening new documents has been fixed. ie before if I tried to open a new document, the program would stall and drain the memory away until I had to terminate the process and restart the phone (no problems with opening existing docs).

I don't see much more advantage over v5 as I had no problems opening MSOffice2007 documents with QO v5

Best way IMO is to use QO 3 or 4 and use the hacked free license way ;/

I do not know how to sign applications, i want to install this in my Nokia N 95 8GB so please help either sign this for me or guide how to sign it and install it, please also tell how to install after signing as there are more then one file.

These instructions used to include how to update to LE2.5 at the same time but now it doesent. And since you upgraded, you have to hard reset (and get the old version back, perform the hack with the additional instructions to get LE2.5 too)
