Trauma Center: Second Opinion has been confirmed as a launch title for the Nintendo Wii.


The game, a sequel to the DS title, casts you as a surgeon who must operate on patients using the Wii's motion sensitive controller. It's a case of stitch 'em up rather than shoot 'em up, as you slice open accident victims, remove foriegn bodies and stop tumours from spreading.


Precise details are scarce, but we do know that you'll get to use defibrillator pads in this one, which you'll presumably apply to flatlining patients by some motion of the controller.


Frankly, we can't wait. Trauma Center - and the Wii - are launching before the end of the year.
