Wondering when Nintendo’s sexy handheld was touching down? The date we’re hearing is June 23rd – so stick that in your diaries.
reports that the Nintendo DS Lite will be coming to Europe on June 23rd are filtering through, that it will only be available in a white finish, and that it will cost around £100.
The Lite, a slimmer, shinier and overall more grown-up version of the DS handheld console, is already available in Japan and is launching very soon in the US. In addition to its visual makeover, the Lite has a far superior screen to the normal DS – as we noted when we got our paws on one a while back.
£100 is around a tenner more than you’d expect to pay for a standard DS, but trust us – the Lite is worth it for the luscious screen alone. So keep an eye out for the launch next month.
