2008 wants to show you its Pokemans.

Next month's issue of Japanese kids' comics magazine CoroCoro, out May 15, is likely to detail some new Pokemon games coming this year. The current issue has a teaser listing all of the previous pairs of games in the franchise and the year of their release, with an unknown game listed with a 2008 release date.

The list doesn't include any of the Pokemon spinoff games, like the recently-released Mysterious Dungeon. And the formatting of the list suggests that what we're going to see is another remixed RPG, in the same way that Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were followed up a year later by Pokemon Emerald.



And here I thought I'd already caught them all.

This'll be Pokemon Platinum - the Yellow/Crystal/Emerald-esque update to Diamond/Pearl

Apparently it'll be released in Japan this autumn, so should hit everywhere else next year.

i'm soo much lookiin' forward to platinum .. many of us know when it will be released in Japan but do anyone know when it would be release in other places like the states or europe etc?...
