Thaks a lot. It is really nice.
i'm on 4.2 U when i try the IOS36 install on trucha bug, it keeps giving me an error
how do you tell if you have the new D3-2 chipset.
If you have that chipset are you hooped as far as playing backup discs?
or do you have to hardmod your wii
An error with Wii games.
Last Saturday, my siblings were playing on the Wii and the games were working fine until the game screen turned black and said "an error accurred. please eject the game and turn off your Wii. Please refer to your system manual" Could someone help me?
Just try to mod your Wii with this softmode, and try some backed up discs if they dont work then you have the D3-2 chipset. Anyway its not going to affect nothing after your softmod, you can add a hard drive and install your games in there and you are going to be able to play your backups from your hard drive. Exist another way to find if you got a D3-2 chipset based on your Wii's serial number but the result is not accurate. It can give you a 50% or 70% of exactitud.
Your wii is softmoded? Can you see the hombrew channel or it goes black when you put the game on it? Did you had the wad, preloader and other things on the menu of homebrew channel? Im asking you because if somebody touch those apps without knowledge maybe he f.... it up, I recommend to redo your softmode again and once you finish, delete all the apps on your homebrew channel and just leave the USB loader GX, so nobody cant messup with those things again.
Ok, so I printed and followed the instructions, twice. I have a never modded 4.2u. I really just want to play burned games. The problem I run into is step 3. Run custom ios38 installer. I dont have that, or if I do I dont know where that is. If anyone has time to explain where I have gone wrong I would really appreciate it, this is getting very frustrating. Merry X mas.
