Perhaps even more interesting than some of the phones released today (Thursday 9 September 2004) is Nokia's new HS-13w Wireless Image Headset.
This is unlike anything we have seen before, which makes it a fitting adjunct to the novel 7280 that it was meant to work with. This 53g device, meant to be worn around the neck, attempts to make up for the unconventional layout of the 7280 by offering a traditional 128x128 pixel 4k color display. You can use that larger display to browse contacts (synchronized from your phone over Bluetooth), and view images. Like a traditional Bluetooth headset, you can use it to initiate calls. And something new, the device itself supports speaker independent voice recognition for dialing names of contacts or for entering digits.
Now we know how Nokia intends for us to enter phone numbers in the 7280, a phone without a keypad
