no way. but N-Gage needs signing? there was no need for such thing...

What phone model and firmware ? I installed N-gape application (1.01 Build 1296) and BiNPDA cr@cked games on my N73 without hacking it. Since, my phone is not compatible with n-gage , I used skanob's repack which is unsigned . I signed it with OPDA root certificate. I didn't even copy 20001079.txt to c:\private\10202be9 . I also didn't delete the file c:\private\10202be9\persists\20001079.cre. But , still I could play the n-gage games with no problem at all...until I hacked my phone again with the rompatcher. Then, The N-Gage games all became blurr like I never installed them. I could not even delete them...the n-gage application showed an error (-2).

If your phone is n-gage compatible , then you don't need to hack it.

Shashank. on new firmwares i think it needs hacking. i donno for sure coz i have hacked my N95 8GB and my N95 before installing N-Gage. both with v30 firmware.

Marius, skanob claims that his repack works best on non hacked phones. Hence, I tried his way...and it worked 4 a while. The one who has started this thread, Demonics , hasn't mentioned his phone model and fw version. And if it a new fw , then it might be unhacked till yet. Hence, I presented him with an option that without hacking , he can try to install ngage app and games.
And in your case, your phone is n-gage compatible , hence you can make it work without hacking...coz you don't need the repack by skanob...you can give it a try if you ever need to format.

I cant afford to format my N95 8GB. but i bought N95 for developing purposes so i can format that whenever i want. so i can give it a try right now. but i must help my mom first.
anyway..N73 isnt in that pack of phones with v30 firmware(N82, N95 8GB and N95) so it will work for sure without hacking. but on v30 i dont know. i tried on N95 8GB v20 to play without hacking and it worked. but i have hacked v30 on it and on N95 before installing N-Gage games. i had some problems on N95 though. on N95 8GB worked good, but on N95 i had to restart after i have installed games. they could not run
now i don't understand why Demonics cant hack. he might be using N82 with latest firmware or a symbian 9.3 phone..

Tell me what happens when you try it on your spare N95.

on N95 8GB it is working good. but on N95 i got few errors few times. like -2 unable to install game
or kern exec. or things like that. but now it is working good and i can play MultiPlayer games in classes with my friends.

I think the errors have something to do with the Build of the Ngage Application ?
If you use previous Builds like 1281 , those errors won't show up ...Offcouse...It's my guess.

In others words, it is possible that your N95 is not completely compatible with the latest build of Ngage...hence those errors...and you know how to verify this.
