i have a n95 8gb and my cousin has a iphone unlocked with turbo sim (we live in australia) my n95 is heaps better. i dont have a problem with its music player and that would be the only reason i would get an iphone so im sticking with my n95 for at least another year.

I reckon the N95 is way better i've got the N95-1 which is not as good to the N95-2 8gb but i have tried the iPhone its not all great, the touch screen gets annoying especially when typing messages and the camera quality is terrible even compared to a N70 2MP phone the quality aint great. Of course it may look better but the applications available to the N95's is way better!!!!! Also the way to remove a sim card is annoying always needing a pin just to remove the sim card which flies out that u have to catch it!

iphone is total junk
please study before you make your decision i phone is fancy looking but doesnt do what symbian powered phones can do just look and see the hundreds of symbian applications that are able to use the hardware as it needs gps vs. maps 5mega pix vs 2 dvd quality video that u can connect and watch on your tv to me it seems to be a no brainer i like the n95-1 but im baised because i have one i love it more than any other item i own n95 8gb has no memory card slot, no lens cover, no movie editor(i have heard but cant confirm) but has 8gb memory and 128 mb ram maybe even concider the n82 n82 has 128mb also plus xenon flash and doesnt slide if thats what u may prefer and does basically everything an n95 can do n96 is awesome but i wish it was a bigger step than what they did 7 mega pix or something really cool like stereo mic-in jack or something new but these r just my opinion |

Never touched/saw iphone "in person", but the idea of having a phone controled by aple scares me a lot! I mean everything you do with iphone is what aple allows you to. I'm happyer with my expensive/brand new/unlocked N95 8GB (almost U$ 1.000,00 in Brasil). Can't wait to run Quake!

having just gotten my N95 8GB last week (after waiting to see what the hype was with the new apple), I went with the Nokia.
NO CONTEST! The apple may look good and be ok priced but it has so many things missing that even basic phones can do that it simply comes down IMHO to being a GADGET. yes it has a touch screen, ho hum, but thats about ALL it has going for it. Typical marketing wins over function. The Nokia is a tool. Has done everything I have asked of it so far, including GPS that was supposed to be very weak - not in mine. No hang ups, fantastic PHONE quality, easy to use keys (surprisingly given how small the pad is. So far so good. My only disappointment is the lack of slider closing as standard (come on Nokia, how hard is it to implement this for those of us in the habit of using this feature?) Apple, no thanks |

N82 xenon is better for photos but useless for video. Apparantly thats why Nokia used LED in N95! N96, apple clone that does nothing over N95 but has bigger memory that most in truth wont ever need |

i dont think the n82 is useless for video it will kill anything else in n-series range when it comes to photo image quality and overall speed. i would not get another n95 8gb extremely poor build quality by nokia standard once you have the n82 or 6600 in your hand you will know what i mean nokia cut some corners with n95 8gb. the iphone well its sweet and i love the massive screen who doesent?.
