Anybody got any views on this phone??

I've read some reviews and the outcome seems mixed,
Main problems tend to be crap battery life, screen crashes loads and the slide mec is a bit dodgy. Has anybody got experience regarding these problems?? I don't really like taking the word from online review sites as most people speak up when they have a problem but keep quite when all is well.

On the plus side of things it seems to have loads of great features and other nokias I've owned have been good ol sturdy beasts.

i use a nokia 6288, similar model to 6280.. Yeah i must agree the slide mechanism is dodgy.. rough and loose.. The phone reboots occasionally, perhaps a phone crash.. But i must say the battery life is a huge letdown. Its a multi-ledia phone, yet it has disappointing battery life. I regret purchasing it now..

Thats maybe the reson it's pretty cheap, got a few in the pipeline so I'll jus keep looking for now

I have had my nokia 6280 for a few weeks, and while the functionality is great, the durability of the phone is average. I love the features, especially the predictive text, which is so much better than other phones I've had. The camera is average, and very poor in low light (about what you'd expect from a mobile).
The sound is good. I like the slide design. I recommend this phone to anyone.
