Hi guys, hope someone can help.

On my N95 I've noticed my phone memory has fallen from around 100Mb to only 48Mb. I used x-plore to see why, and in C:\Data\Lifeblog\TextIndex there is a file called Textindex.db. This file is 62.4Mb in size.

I have no idea how it got so big and why its growing. I don't even use or want Lifeblog but I can't remove it cos it was a pre-installed app.

Can anyone tell me how to remove / reduce the textindex.db file or even what it does?

To get rid of these files go to Menu > Applications > Lifeblog > Options, scroll down to Settings > Item Types and deselect all the item types.

Tried that and it hasn't worked. Something is causing the TextIndex file to grow exponentially. I have no idea what is causing it though. There's nothing in my lifeblog timeline but the file is still growing. Even if I don't use the phone for a few hours the file size seems to increase. I'm going to have to do a hard reset I think.

EDIT: Tried both hard and soft reset and it only gave me back 10Mb of phone memory. I've deleted everything in lifeblog and still the TextIndex file is 65.99Mb in size.

EDIT 2: Just flashed the phone with latest firmware and my phone memory is back up to 111Mb. The TextIndex file is now only 7Kb. Although thats after installing some games and apps, it was only 3Kb before that. Perhaps the file just grows all the time and I'd corrupted it somehow. Anyway, its back to normal now. Thanks to ANDYKN for his suggestion.
