Somewhat late to the 8 megapixel party, but with a fashionable touchscreen, LG’s just unveiled the KC910, it’s first 8meg phone that also happens to be the slimmest.
With a profile of just under 14mm, it’s a dinky multimedia number, and the first to include Dolby Mobile, new audio processing tech from the cinema masterminds, that promises beefy bass and crisp, clear sounds.
Following on from the LG Viewty, LG has crammed in Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics, xenon flash, image stabilisation, auto-focus, manual focus, Face Tracking, Smile Shot and blink detection.
That’s enough camera tech to put it on par with a proper compact, and it can record video in any format from 5 frames per second up to 120 frames per second.
As well as covering both fast and slow motion, it’ll play back DivX and Xvid files too.
Still not satisfied? There’s GPS inside too, as well as a Jogging Buddy application to help track workouts and exercise regimes.
Of course, it’s 3G, and there’s Wi-Fi inside too. Phew! LG might be late, but they certainly know how to crash a party.
