You need to edit the mp3 to make it a smaller bitrate and between 20-30 seconds long. Basically the file size needs to be 192kb or less.

Put it on your microSD card in the my sounds folder.

Then, on your phone, go to menu->get it now->music&tones-->my sounds.

Select the mp3 you want and press send in message.

Send the message to yourself.

Once you receive the message you will have the option of saving the file as a ring tone.

do i cut the music and how to i keep that file to mp3 because when i tried this after i cut the song it went to a different format
