I have been doing countless google searches and I came across this one:
[Only Registered users can see links . Click Here To Register...] I don't know if this is the best way to add games but it does seem to work. |

Games will not work correctly. It continually prompts to allow multimedia_access and after checking into this all night it seems the options are locked to No or Oneshot so it doesn't matter what you set it to. Whoever has this working on a LG 550 all I can say is your phone version is different or something. Would be nice to get games that don't prompt me every second.
Unless games are of a trusted domain in your _profile.txt file they and anything else will prompt you for any access. Maybe someone will see this reply and maybe there is a solution but I've tried lots of things and other than seriously editing files on my LG 550 it seems I'm out of luck to really customize this phone. |

When it asks you to allow multimedia_access select the no not all all option. At least for me the games seem to work. I have only tried a couple of the games listed on this site. I have a bunch of games I downloaded from iso hunt. Some of them seem to work as well.
I have the following games on my phone running. Age of Empires 2 Mobile ( This game froze at one point but I haven't tried it since) Banjo-Kazooie Beach Mini-Golf Game of Life Medal of Honor Who wants to be a millionaire A couple of games have not worked for me so you have two play around with them and see what works. |

Ya but do they have sound? Mine don't, they do if I keep answering yes to the prompt but what good is that? Sound is a good part of the game. I am working on figuring out how to add them into a trusted domain. From what I've read, they have to be from a trusted domain. If not there must be a way to stop my cell phone from blocking things.

I think I remember reading about this problem. Someone was trying to get Google Maps working or some sort of Google App on their Fusic. They alter the _policy.txt file and when they turn the phone off, their saved settings are deleted and overwritten with the default settings the file originally had...

Ok so I've worked it out (thanks to an unlimited data plan) using uploader sites. Google will turn up a bunch.
As for multimedia_access, I've found if you repeatedly hit the yes, but ask again option about 5 times it'll stop asking and voila, with some games you have sound, others, no luck. I guess it's hit or miss. I've also noticed that some games ask for the permission once, and others a few times. If only I knew how to get bitpim to recognize my phone. *le sigh* Last edited by teknophreaq; 09-29-2007 at 08:25 PM. |
