I assume you mean the jailbreaking? Are you using iTunes 8.2? Anyhow there is no tool to jailbreak 3.0 for now, watch this site for news: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

There is a rather useful and quick way of jailbreaking ipods with 3.0 now.However,I don't think I am allowed to post it here,so I'll ask you to google it instead :D.It is called "redsn0w".It's the most effective way of jailbreaking your ipod yet.
And yes,this guide does not work on firmware 3.0.Does anybody know a tutorial which actually works ?
