Hey guys! I've tried out windows xp vortex vista second generation 2008. It's perfect! Iike vista because of the nice appearance however after trying it out, I found out that it doesn't work with microsoft active syn. I need it to syn my PDA. Also, it takes up a lot of space. So I changed back to xp. I got to know about this windows xp vortex second generation and decided to try it out as it's OS is xp while having vista features. And now, it's working perfectly and fast! Just took up 1GB(quite resonable) and it's genuine, no serial required. Now I can have xp and at the same time the vista look and features! Anybody tried vortex out?

No problem. Just to tell you, this version is very stable. However, if u update it to SP3, your vista start up screen will be gone. It'll be like XP after you've updated it to SP3.

Well, the only modification of this version is that u'll have the vista look. The OS is still XP professional. However, this comes with SP2, and if you update it to SP3, the vista start up screen will no longer look like vista. It'll be like the original XP.

downloaded from here, upon install product code already applied but says its incorrect.....so not able to install.
wants a correct product code/serial...............................

This product do even have the screen which prompt you to enter a serial. I tried it and it worked. Did you create a image on a disc and boot up from the disc?
