Mine is ADSL 8MB.

Up to 8MB Downstream/1MB Upstream.

ADsl 256 ko . it is a little slow ....

I use both 115 kbps and 256 Kbps. Both are slow .

you guys are so lucky!!! your talking of slow....my transfer rate is just 6 kb per second...the slowest internet ever!!!!SIX!!!Can u imagine

Yes I can! lol I had just 56k which only gave me a transfer speed of 3-4kbps for years. I remember downloading my cr@cked version of Win98 using it, it took nearly a week(!) and my parents phone bill used to be £200 ($400) a quarter before they introduced unmetered tarrifs! They werent very pleased about that!

We never had any DSL/Cable (unless you were a rich business) in the UK until about <5yrs ago then they invested in the telecoms system and now I think about 95% of the country has access to ADSL or Cable.

I Use GPRS Internet Connection of 115 Connecting Speed , But the true downloading speed is - 5.7 KB maximum !

i have just 56k dialup

I have a 56k Connection that connects generaly at about 46k and dowloads at around 4.5kbs in windows, but with LEECHGET 2005 I have seen my download speed increase to 19Kbs and decrease quickly to 8kbs and then slowly back up........

WOAH! 19kbps on a 56k?! I used to get that on 56k but I figured it out to be that the modem sometimes slows down or stops transmitting probably due to another application prioritising CPU time, all the while the modems receive buffers are still getting full of transmitted data from source, then when it gains a slot in the CPU time it just sends all the collected data all at once, thats why your getting 19kbps, then when its buffers get emptied its ready to work again properly and your speed decreases back to the real speed of the modem. Anyone know any different?
