It is amazing what you can do with a fridge full of fresh fruit and a blender. The difference between blender recipes and juicing is the added advantage of soft fibers. This is wonderful for cleaning and maintaining a healthy colon. Blender recipes are an excellent addition to a healing and cleansing program.

Apricot Pineapple Smoothie Recipe
1/4 cup crushed pineapple
1 fresh apricot, diced
6 strawberries
1/2 banana
1 1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
1 heaping tbsp. high- quality protein powder (optional)
1 tsp. flax seed oil (optional)

In a blender, process fruit with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until thoroughly mixed and serve.



Banana-Strawberry Fruit Smoothie Recipe
1 banana, frozen
6 strawberries, frozen
1 1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
1 heaping tbsp. high- quality protein powder (optional)
1 tsp. flax oil (optional)

In a blender, process all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and serve.



Tropical Fruit Shake
1/2 mango
2 tbsp. frozen pina coloda mix (or 1/8 tsp. natural coconut extract)
1/2 banana, frozen
4 strawberries, frozen
6 ice cubes
1 1/4 cup water
1 heaping tbsp. high- quality protein powder (optional)
1 tsp. flax oil (optional)

In a blender, process all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and serve.



Banana-Berry Fruit Smoothie
1/2 pear, cored
1/4 cup frozen blueberries or frozen mixed berries
1/2 banana, frozen
1 1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
1 heaping tbsp. high-quality protein powder (optional)
1 tsp. flax oil (optional)

In a blender, process all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and serve.



Banana-Orange-Strawberry Fruit Shake
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 banana, frozen
6 strawberries, frozen
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
1 heaping tbsp. high- quality protein powder (optional)
1 tsp. flax oil (optional)

In a blender, process all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and serve.

Asian Pear and Papaya Smoothie

1 Asian / Chinese Pear
2 Papayas
1/2 of a Fair Trade Mango
3/4 Japanese Fuji (optional)
300ml Fair Trade tropical juice
Handful of ice cubes

Cut the asian pear into segments, scoop out the papaya flesh, cut off half of the mango and slice up the fuji and put them into the smoothie maker. Add the tropical juice and ice. Then whizz!

Melon and Banana Crush Smoothie
(serves 2)
Ingredients
2 good slices of melon (cubed)
1 banana chopped into 4
2 good scoops of vanilla ice-cream


splash of cranberry juice
Method
Put the melon and banana into the blender, blast for 20 seconds. Next, add the splash of cranberry juice and ice-cream and blend again for around 20 seconds until smooth. Enjoy!

Melon and Passion Fruit Kick Smoothie
(serves 2)
Ingredients
1/2 honeydew / watermelon
2 small passion fruits
5 strawberries to sweeten
handful of ice (if preferred)
Method
Cut the melon in to small pieces or melon balls, add to blender. Cut the passion fruits in half and scrape into the blender with the melon. Cut the strawberries in to halves and add also. Blend for 30 seconds, then add ice if desired and blend for further 20 seconds. Serve. Tip: Add sugar to taste if necessary - but you can also add more strawberries as an alternative

Vitamin C Super Smoothie
(serves 2)
Ingredients
1 large seedless oranges
2 Royal Gala apples
100gms low-fat peach yoghurt
1 tablespoon of plain cinnamon powder
Method
Peel the orange leaving the white skin then slice the apples (leave the peel on but remove core). Put all ingredients into your blender and put the dash of cinnamon on top. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Jogger’s Paradise

3 oranges
2 hard pears
1 small yam

1 grapefruit
1 orange

The Hyper House Cleaner

2 yams
1 beet
1 slice Spanish onion
2 lemons
1 celery
slice of ginger

So you're ready to clean house, To cut a trail through the kid's bedroom. Get ready for an aerobic house-cleaning workout.




Pineapple Piper

1 pineapple
1 sweet potato
4 oranges

Even the most skeptical taster will be won over by this sweet treat.




Race Runner

1 lemon
2 radish
1 beet
1 slice Spanish onion
2 sweet potato
1 celery
2 Tbs. cider vinegar

A sweet and zingy flavor. Choose raw cider vinegar with mother present. A great detoxifier.


Red Ice

1 beet
1 sweet potato
2 apples
1 lemon
1 tomato
thin slice of Spanish onion
1 garlic clove
1/2 can of frozen apple concentrate

Crush ice or blend with water till slush. Add juice and get ready to chill out.

The Pain Remover

1 lemon
1 orange
3 hard pears
3 apples
