    Actually, I have one question before to flash : Phoenix asks for files of type "Image", "PPM" and "Content", where to put my files .ppm_c, .mcusw and .image_c_fr ?

    .mcusw -> Image
    .ppm* -> PPM
    image -> content <- This file contains the pre-installed software, so if you get one from a 6300i it might have Nokia maps.

    Thanks ! So I musn't put the .image file in the "Image" box of Phoenix, it's confusing !

    Do I have to check "Full factory set" ?

    Please let me know if I have to check other things before to launch it ^_^

    Make sure you mabe a backup off all the setting and your contacts in the phone. Also make a backup of the certificates in Phoenix ( product->User Settings->All settings) These certificates get messes up some times during the flash and you will not be able to connect to Wifi/UMA without them. (if you are with t-mobile)
    Not sure where you see Full factory Set. If you don;t check it here you can do a full factory reset from the phone any time.

    When I go to "product -> user setting -> all settings" it says :

    "Not able to get access to current data package.

    HRESULT 0x840e0806 (-2079455226)

    Framework: The data package was not found from the directory(-ies) set in the search path."

    :-(

    Also, when I click on the ".." button after "product code", it says "Neither DP1.0 nor DP2.0 was found for the Product, or the Product cannot be identified. Only "Auto-detect" will be available.

    I don't really understand those things... I only copied the .ppm, .mcu and .image files on the virtual computer desk, do I have to copy the whole RM-322 folder ?

    Put your phone in test mode that might take care of the issue with the all settings.

    As far as the files go install the rm- package on the virtual machine as well, or have phoenix download the packages you need. ( Tools->image file download) You will need the product number of your phone and one from a 6300i. Or you can get them from

    I got two installer with the RM-322 (6301) and RM-337 (6300i) files, I just copied the 3 necessary files to the virtual machine but I will extract both complet packages at the end.

    In Phoenix once it detects your phone right under the menu you can set the Operating mode of your phone.

    Ok I found the "Test" operating mode and I decompressed both package, now let's go further...

    First, the backup of all settings went fine now !

    Now, the firmware window corresponds to my phone. I've changed the product code to the "regular" version (without any Orange component) and I changed the content file to the one from the 6300i, let's get c-r-a-c-k-in' !
