Thread: HELP Nokia 5800 security code

I updated my nokia 5800 using JAF after succesfull flashing my phone rebooted OK

My old security code is not being accepted. 12345 is not working.
How do I read security code. which feild is it same [308] -8
phone is currently unlocked.
Help its urgent

If you have JAF, you'll be able to read user code
1- click on "user code edit
2- click on "service"
you'll have a new box, click "read"

I fixed it myself though.

actually, you just need to press the # longer then you can enter your old security code which is 12345..

I can't unlock mine using those steps..

Detected P-KEY: 9000AAC9
P-key nokia module version 01.02
Init usb communication...
Can't read user code! or Code is default 12345

Please help..

Mate first you must go here and present yourself

Second: you must give us more details (are using JAF cr@cked or a real JAF, what type of cable are u using: USB or FBUS, ......)

It wasn't about getting numbers instead of alphabets. anyways thoughts are always welcome.

Use phoenix service software and use restore user product instead of refurbish.
PS: I don't think you are supposed to disclose your P-Key

Hello, i am new in this forum and was thinking if i could get some help, i presented myself already there and i have the same problem as OP.

i changed SIM card to try to call some parents in another country since my other cellphone's battery died and put the chip in the 5800, after that it asked me for a "lock code" i tried 12345, red+green+photo buttons reset, *#77.... and nothing helped so here i am.

when i connect the phone, i connect it to my PC when its off since when its on, it doesnt dectect it, but when its off, it ask me for a "USB driver rom" and cant find it anywhere, i am downloading the "PC suite" to see if i can use that one.

i installed JAF (hacked i guess) and using the virtual Pkey, but after opening JAF it doesnt dectect my phone since it doesnt show my IMEI in the status bar? (the last bar below in the windows) and i get the same as the one you quoted when i press in "read code"

using USB cable that came with phone.
