Thread: dead N95-2 while flasing (NSU)

    Default dead N95-2 while flasing (NSU)

    so, i was flashing it (n95 8gb) to the v.15.0.015. and in the middle of the process it just turned off. (and NSU said that the connection was lost, could find the mobile, etc)

    now it just donīt start up. I turn it on, it vibrates, the keys lights are on but no screen, just the black screen of the death.

    Should i pray or what? LOL
    there is no warranty anymore (there is, but i bought it at germany, and iīm fast away from there).

    There is some solution for that? some guys said that it could be really dead, no chance to re-flash it, is that true?

    Take it to the nokia service center.You should take care while flashing a phone.

    I flashed a sony dvd rw drive and the power turned off.It was not working.I prayed and reflashed it and it started working.

    There are some utilities like Phoenix for flashing phones.You should try them.

    iīll try this app, but i just have the dku-2 (usb) cable. maybe thats a problem.

    anyway, iīll try the nokia service center, but i know it will take like 30 days to get the mobile back (IF it is 100%)

    but the problem is that my pc canīt find the mobile anymore (nokia pc suite or just the device), so i canīt scan the memory of the cell.

    well, yesterday i gave the mobile at one place to repair cells, but the guy said that he will try to flash again...maybe today or tomorrow i have some new (hopeful, good news)

    I think some antivirus software can conflict with NSU while flashing the phone.

    Is you phone under warranty?

    sorry about the "fast away" lol it is "far away"

    but mobileīs warranty should be acceptable everywhere, iīm pissed of about "they canīt fix it in warranty because you didnīt buy it here (land)"

    tomorrow iīll have some news about the re-flashing

    than iīll post here.
