Longer music playback, faster maps, N-Gage preview and internet radio service hit the multimedia maven.
In the ongoing fight against the iPhone Nokia has launched a software upgrade for its N95, available directly from Nokia’s Software Updater service online.
The added features it offers claim to “elevate performance levels even further”. Further than what exactly, we’re not quite sure. But the software includes battery, stability and performance improvements so you can run faster and longer.
Included is better language support and free N-Gage demo games available via the Download! Application.
As well as a faster Map Loader with speedier positioning and a free three-day navigations trial, there’s also an increase of 30 per cent on the phone’s music playback (Nokia claims 12 hours compared to nine previously).
Nicely timed to coincide with the launch of the Nokia Music Store for instant over-the-air downloads.
Nokia has also just launched an internet radio application for free download offering access to hundreds of radio stations with browsing done by station name, genre, country or language.
