Default web page design in photoshop, doubts- reg

dear,

i m interested to design webpages in PhotoShop.

but, pls guide me, tht, what page size, i have to take in photoshop for designi a page which have to see in windows explorer or n mozila firefox?

pls guide me

You should design the page to be 760 pixels wide, this is the standard set by the W3C, it means that it will fit on a 800x600 monitor, after the scrollbar is taken into account, if you're putting navigation links on the left (which you should) then allow 100 pixels for that, you shouldn't need more than 100, so your content area will be 660 pixels. This is how I designed my own website.

The easiest web editor:
Microsoft Word XP or later. (only support HTML, for advance use Adobe Dreamweaver.)

No no no no no no no! Don't use MS Word! It's crap! If your going to build a website use Dreamweaver! or if you know sufficient HTML, use NotePad! Never use MS software to build websites!

you can also use microsoft frontpage if you find dreamweaver complicated
