I am a new user of iPhone 2G. I use grameenphone operator SIM card (Bangladesh) in my iphone. One of my relative gifted me this phone.

Last day, I connect to itune and itune said there is new os available for download which is 3.1.3 version and I continued to upgrade. But, after upgrading my phone i cannot activate it. the phone only shows to enter a valid SIM card to activate my phone. I inserted my GP SIM card, the phone is now only on emergency call mode. I can only call/receive call but cannot able to enter in phone menu cause it is not activated.

In my PC, when i connect my iphone, itune says that the SIM card inserted is not supported and suggest me to enter a supported sim card to activate my phone. I can't able to enter in restore/update mode in itune.

Now, it would be great help for me if anyone can suggest me what should i do now and how to activate my phone. I am in a serious trouble.
