Thread: non-purchased music back to itunes?

I recently re-formatted my PC and didnt back up my itunes(stupid i know)

All my music is still on my my iPhone.

Now i read that you can only copy purchased music back to itunes, is this correct?

I have jailbroke my iPhone so wondered if this restriction still applies or is there another way to do this?

Ok have just found out how to do it using openssh

One question though how safe is it using openssh, you have to add your Ip address etc so just wondered if anyone can hack into me?

Apple will not allow you to transfer non-purchases from ipod/iphone to itunes. But there are ways can do this.
