Secret Startup Commands and hidden menus in Garmin devices

There are several undocumented commands available,on Garmin handheld receivers , users call them hidden menus or easter eggs-
Note that many of these features are not documented by Garmin for a reason. They are generally for testing the device and are not intended for end users. The modes are not supported by Garmin and may cause you to lose data in your machines. Try this at your own risk!

I've collected on the internet some examples of these hidden menus (thanks naviboard.de-garniak.pl-naviuser.de and many others) you can test them and check if they'r correct (may be translations are not proper), posting in this thread your discovers. we'll update our list-

I remember there was one more diagnostic menu for Oregon. It was on the trip computer page. Hold the icon in the lower right corner of the screen for 10-15sec.

    Cheers,

thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this info on the garmin/nuvi.

why does garmin hide this important info.

i have found this info nowhere else.

btw - if the unit is connected to external power, the battery level icon does not appear, but you can still press/hold that spot (upper right/center) and see system info.

now if i could just interpret/decode all the info i'm seeing...
