Compare the Navigation page with 3xxx series.

I read that 3590 have 3 axis compass like the handhelds. Maaan, why garmin don't write this things in the specs?!!!

Maybe because they don't make the firmware to show this "hidden feature" right now.
    They hide it, why?
With eCompass feature within firmware will make we can imagine how the real " Friendly Pedestrian mode" act.

But now 3590 is not friendly for Pedestrian use!!

Agree with you but doubt garmin will implement that functionality in the the EU/US firmwares. I have seen it in the asian firmwares for 37xx series and it is really cool!

Why do you write that it is not friendly for pedestrian use? Is it too big?

BTW I have read that guys from another forum said that the screen of 3590 is very cool but very shiny on sun light? What do you say?

    3790v SgMy / 3790th has complete eCompass ( hardware + firmware).
These Nuvis can detect the direction we are moving even we move very slowly.

    3590 need the faster speed to detect the direction. . ( running ?? I didn't test )
Sorry to make you confused , I edit "Enhanced pedestrian mode" to "Friendly Pedestrian mode for above post.

3590 will take a lack time for 2 seconds to set locatuon. (full EU map 2013.10)

Maybe it's a good time for Garmin to speed up the chip.
