1 thing I realised after installing GarminMobileXT to my Nokia E71, there seems to be a huge amount of battery drainage and is there any solution for it? Thanks.

    Regards,
    Mel

it sean that if I would be a veteran in installing garmin by now but...

After loosing my wonderfull E66 on a flight to London I had to revert to a N95.
    I installed this...

    Garmin Standalone 5.00.50 (58.75 MB):
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Keepng a close eye on the simple guide:
    HTML Code:
    http://www.noeman.org/gsm/tools-speedcams-voices/60401-simple-guide-setting-up-garmin-mobile-xt-s60-wm.html
After installing the G-apps the unit ID turn up with a 4 digit number. Kind of strange since the last time I did this I had a looooooong row of numbers.
Well I tried that, genrating an unlock code with jetson 1.5, used the Guyla app. to generate the sw.unl

Turning on G**in all was fine and well untill I installed the map (Mapsource, 378 (Europe)). Generated the map unlock code in Jetson, pasted it into Guyla, generated the gmappsup.unl

and now G***in XT tells me that unit ID nnnn can't unlock the map.

    What have I missed?

Default I need to buy a GPS with thailand map for my bike w

    Hello everybody,

I'm a newbie with gps, and I want to buy a garmin for my bike, but .......... Somebody can help me for the model's choice ?

It is for Thailand only, need to be waterproof, speaking english with english map for Thailand, with the special accesories to fix the GPS to a bike.

I hope to have many advices, because I really don't know what model to buy

Oh, I forget, "not too expensive !"

    Thank you for help.

I'd use a nokia phone,if it's possible with a waterproof case, the cheapest thing, you must just install garmin and maps all free here on noeman
