There could be problem with turning screen off on some devices because power saving is activated,
just disable turning off screen (power saving) in control panel of Your device

It is not turning off or system power-saving. It is about losing windows focus and grayed-out. I think i made it clear that the Garmin program still runs , grays out, meter-counter works but main graphic freezes, as if you click on some window else in WinXp.

There must be some program running in background and stealing focus (like scheduling programs or similar), try to turn off all other programs - one by one to find out which one is responsible

I cannot stop all the other program. Navman system could not store or save registry. And I need its background speedcam warning.
Is there a way to make garmin always on focus?

There are several ways to get back in focus program (window) running on any Windows:
1. Through windows - to click on program or belonging button in taskbar,
2. Through program itself (adequate routine should exist in program that checks if program is in focus and puts in focus if not) - could not be done if it's not already built in program (it is not),
3. Through external program which will check if some routine (program/window) is in focus, and if not to put it (program/window) back in focus

Best solution would be no. 3, but as I'm not in position to make such program and test it at moment (I'm in hospital and don't have any device with Windows Mobile or Windows CE), we could hope that some programmer will read this thread, accept challenge and make such program, or if somebody know any existing program that could be used for such purpose to let us know.

Sorry, not too much helpful, but that's much I know and can do for now.

I bought the Garmin Oregon 200 in Germany updated the Firmware and switched to English.
Thanks to the great help here I could install some maps.

Now when I install "Thailand Street Map 10" which is in Thai language, I only get "???????????" instead of words. Is there a work around which let my wife look the maps in Thai language, but keeps the menus and the other maps in English?

It should be possible - please help!

No sorry ,there is no way to convert NT map in Non NT format.
you can use "MapConverter" to convert maps with older structure to newer so they could be used with RoadTrip for Mac OS X.
