Question Hard reset Nuvi 3790 query

What exactly gets deleted from a Nuvi 3790 when it is hard reset.

Is it just waypoints and favorites?

    Thanks.

Lets extend the question. What is hard reset really doing?

Well yes, but you can always manually delete the waypoints from the your nuvi. So why would you perform a hard reset then? To be honest with you me this answer doesn't satifly my curiosity. I am again asking my question - "What is hard reset really doing?". I am asking this question and hope for an answer from the firmware experts. Like Mr. kunix or Alexander.

Just use sections Indexes and for maps use tags cloud, it works nicely.
Almost all the maps are tagged, will add tags to tutorials now

reset will delete your favourits and setting

    it will not delete maps

try to make backup every time for your locations and data

    Try this...
Transfer waypoints from mapsource to nuvi then a hard reset won't delete them anymore.
