FINDING a gadget that does everything is like tracking down the Holy Grail. But this little baby from
MIO makes a decent stab at it.
Not only is it a mobile, it's also a PDA and satellite navigation device all in one.
The
A701 works as a tri-band phone - although only over GPRS and not 3G - and also includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and 192MB of internal memory.
It's the sat-nav though that could see it do well.
A built-in GPS receiver guides you to your destination using the maps included on an SD card.
And because everything is in one box, you could use it while walking along, rather than always in the car.
It costs £449 with full European mapping or £379 without them - and because it works on Windows Mobile 5, it'll happily run any map software from the likes of TomTom or CoPilot.
