I must admit it ran right down after I'd had it playing mp3s for about 3 hours straight and read a bit and played the odd game on it. Oh, and I even made a phone call and sent some texts as well. Is that really crap? I guess it is if you run out of juice miles away from a charger... but overall, I've been okay with charging every night.

I bought one, but the p990 was cheaper so I exchanged it. My friend ended up buying a N95 instead. We played with each others phones for a day. Came up with these conclusions.
The p990 just feels better in your hand, more solid no flimsy moving plasticy bits. The price difference between the two is pretty steep for a higher MP suposedly Carl Zeiss camera that isn't really that great, besides I have a nice Olympus Digicam. The GPS that is built-in the N95 is subpar IMO. I like the look of the icons on the N95 but that is a minor thing. Battery life in the p990 is way better. QWERTY keyboard rocks! Push email is very handy. Touch screen is also very handy indeed. BTW, I don't use the flip, removed that the first day. True on paper the N95 looks like a winner, but after experiencing it first hand. Hmmmm, gonna say pass! So what happened after a day of use? (1) As nice as the N95 is, I would still prefer my p990 (2) He liked the p990 better too and is thinking he paid too much now. So I'm not knocking the N95 it is a nice phone, but I would'nt say I love it.
