What is the Greatest Console of All time?
Over the years I have had loads of consoles and had loads of fun too but which one has the best memorys for you?
My memorys for example range from... Streets of Rage on the Megadrive... Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo, 2 Player of Course... Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast... Final Fantasy 7 on the Playstation... Those were my golden memorys, feel free to post your greatest memorys and vote in the poll... Cheers,

I think it is Super Nintendo ; It was the top in these moments (1994-1996)...
the best titles was -Donkey Kong country - Secret of man ( Square soft) - Super mario World -The legend of Zelda - Super street fighter and more and more .. I also had the Nintendo - Megadrive - PS - N64 - PS2 - Dreamcast but i have spent the best moment with Super Nintendo

I agree with you Spiral when I think of those games you mentioned Like Street Fighter I get the memorys flooding back...

For me it would have to be the SNES, just because that without it I do not think that console gaming would be where it is today.
Games like Starfox (Starwing in europe), Super Mario Kart, Street Fighter 2 & Super Mario World (which became the standard by which all platform games were judged) were all so ground breaking. Having said all this though only a few of my favourite games are on the SNES, they are mostly N64 & Gamecube titles. Street Fighter 2 : Hyper Fighting (SNES), Super Mario World (SNES), The Legend Of Zelda - The Ocarina Of Time (N64), Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64), Super Mario 64 (N64), Shadow Man (N64), Mario Kart 64 (N64), Goldeneye (N64), Perfect Dark (N64), Eternal Darkness : Sanity's Requiem (GC), Metal Gear Solid : The Twin Snakes (GC), Soul Caliber 2 (GC), Metroid Prime (GC), Resident Evil 4 (GC), Halo 2 (Xbox) & Black (Xbox)As you can tell I'm a big fan of Nintendo, but I have owned just about every console avaliable at some stage. Master System, GameGear, Mega Drive, Dreamcast, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Atari Lynx 2, GameBoy, GameBoy Colour, GameBoy Advance (still own), GameBoy Advance SP, SNES (still own), N64 (still own), GameCube (still own), DS (still own), DS Lite (still own) & Xbox (still own)

Me too I was a big fun of Nintendo , but they did big errors in their last strategy especially with the game cub when they repeated the same mistake ( orientaion for children and missing the online feature) they loosed the thrust of the most companies , I hope that with the new console WII they correct all these errors ..

sucks...... i havent played all the games console on poll above, since im broke during my childhood days...... but whenever i got extra penny on the pocket, i always play street fighter on my neighborhood gamestore..... but i vote for super nintendo since if i can still remember i always played all the games available, but there is one game that im truly addicted up until now...... its king of fighters....... my best game forever for me........

Starfox was a great game I forgot about that one G.J. Cole...
As for King of Fighters I loved that game too but if I remember rightly I think it came outon the NEO GEO first (Boy that was an expesive machine, used to play it in the games store) and it also made an appearance on the Playstation & Sega Saturn...
