ok first you need to be connected to your computer straight from modem no router should be involved then you should download this to change your mac address
then once you change your mac address then you just restart your modem and you should be able to pass the download limit works for me hope it works for you too

There is a simpler way (for the peeps who have routers):

1) Turn off your modem
2) Open a command prompt and type "ipconfig /release"
3) Turn on your modem
4) Now type in your command prompt "ipconfig /renew"

I don't see how changing your MAC address would do anything to bypass rapidshare limits. Especially if you're behind a router.

May be this works, but I use a very simple thing - I unplug my internet connection and reconnect - and then I get a new IP. And download without waiting.
This may sound stupid and simple, but it works for me
