I think there are many factors to consider...

1. Education - Many of the leaders of these terorist groups play on the insecuritys uneducated individuals...

2. Religion - This is a key factor and many religions feel that they must convert the rest of the worl d to theier way of thinking but if anyone believes in any kind of God then surely they must realise that Human being were created with a freedom of choise and will and that multicultural societys should be embrased and not assimilated - How will the human race evolve if we all think the same way...

3. There are Evil individuals out there that will stp at nothing to cause chaos and destruction whever they go and those individuls must be targeted and held accountable for their actions...

I feel that if you could encourage better learning in many of the countrys where terroism is based the people would not so easily be conviced by these evil individuals.

Wars Gernarally are about Land or commodoties and is also a thing of the past, More modernised countrys now conduct there wars via Politics... Look at the EU they have convinced many countrys to join what they call there block and efectively each country has now become a state of the EU without a missile being fired...
