UPDATE

The results of Thursdays Scan are in and apparantly Rooney is recovering as expected... The bone appears as it would from the 4 weeks recovery time he has had...

although it is almost 100% that he will not take part in the Group stages of the Tournament... IF England can avoid being knocked out and make it to the Knock-Out Stages of the Tournament it is likely that Rooney may be able to play some role in those matches...

He will have a further Scan on June 14th to see if he can return to action...
