Yeah, you need to have games that support wifi, and you need a wifi connection. And it's a special Nintendo wifi-one, i think, as i remebered the day i bought my DS Lite on a vacation, like one hour later i went MCDonalds, and i saw a "nintendo wifi" logo thingy, so yeah, you need games and some special router OR this one:
