Sold! How do I do it?
Step 1: Nail your Nokia’s theme under the ‘Tools’ menu. Here you can pick a different theme for the whole blower under ‘General’. It’ll change the wallpaper, menu screens and ringtone. You can download more themes here too.

To drill down into more specifics, hit ‘Menu view,’ ‘Wallpaper’ or ‘Power saver’ instead of ‘General’. Here you can change the background of your phone to a picture of your own, change menus to a list view instead of the standard grid and change what’s shown on the screen when your mobile’s in standby.

Step 2: Slap a unique ringtone on your mates and you’ll know who’s calling without bothering to look at the screen. Find their name in your address book, hit ‘Options’ and ‘Open’ then ‘Options’ again and ‘Ringing tone’. Pick from any noise stored in your mobile’s memory, or download more from the web or create your own. Keep a sound selected to hear what it’s like.

Step 3: You can fiddle with the font on your mobile too. Head to ‘Tools,’ ‘Settings’ and ‘General.’ Dive into ‘Personalisation’ and you’ll see an option to change the font size under ‘Display’. You can also set up some welcome text or a picture that’ll show every time you start your phone here too.

Step 4: Head back out to the ‘Personalisation’ page and dip into ‘Tones’ to swap your regular ringtone. You can also change the text alert noise here, or make your phone say the caller’s name in a dorky robotic voice!
